Construction Health and Safety

Significantly Improve your Construction Health and Safety System

As construction health and safety regulations become increasingly stringent, the pressure on site and project managers to comply is mounting. The need to know that only authorised individuals are actually on site and more specifically, who is present at any one time, is paramount. Typical construction health and safety systems used in the past include; manually kept logs and swipe card systems which have proved problematic, unreliable and often costly.

However, advancements in modern technology are now enabling a different approach to construction health and safety.

Construction Health and Safety Reporting

Construction site management system – MSite is a software system that is integrated with a secure biometric access control function. The biometric access control (which can use either hand recognition, iris recognition or fingerprint recognition) only allows authorised individuals onto a construction site. The MSite software enables the enforcement of CSCS accreditation at entry points on the biometric access control and can also generate a number of mandatory reports at the touch of a button. The construction health and safety reports include real time muster reports, time and attendance reports for all employees or split by contractors, incident reports, CSCS audit reports with expiry alerts and attendance or absentee lists for any given period. The construction health and safety benefits are considerable.

MSite - Construction Health and Safety Key Reports

Full construction health and safety management and reporting against all employees -
MSite allows the customers to setup construction health and safety and incident categories according to their own particular requirements. This information can then be captured and configured at an employee, site and contractor level

Penalty Point system to control employee site access -
MSite allows site managers to setup rules based on health and safety and incident reporting to deny access to employees or contractors.

Reports (Configurable by operator) -
All reports in MSite can be tailored to meet client’s needs. All reports are configurable and operators can run them against, employees, contractors, time periods etc.

Standard reports include:

  • Banned Access Attempts
    • All times a banned employee has tried to gain access to a site
  • Detailed Access and Attendance
    • Details each individual transaction for all employees for a particular day, week, month or year. Can be configured to work at employee or contractor level.
  • Banned Employee List

  • CSCS Audit
    • Report detailing the percentage of employees who hold valid CSCS cards and their current status.
  • Construction Health and Safety
    • Shows all the construction health and safety incidents for a particular time period
  • Roll Call
    • Muster report used for emergency situations or tracking numbers of employees on site at a particular time

Ability to immediately disable access for an employee, contractor and site level -
If you have to quickly disable access to your site for a particular set of employees or contractors this can be done in seconds

Full CSCS card management which can be set to determine site access -
Most construction companies work on a no tolerance policy for workers without CSCS cards. MSite has the ability to disable site access for employees whose CSCS cards have expired. Moreover MSite can produce reports and alarms to operators on when CSCS cards are due to expire
