HRS Exhibit at Technology Retail EventRetailers Realise the Value of Managing Identity May 2nd, 2006
Human Recognition Systems recently took part in the "Technology Enabling the Retail Industry" event, organised by Merseyside ICT in Liverpool. The event included a short presentation on Identity Management solutions specific to retailers, as well as an exhibition showcasing leading edge solutions.The aim of the event was to provide retailers with a comprehensive overview of the latest technologies, ICT trends and relevant products/services that will enhance their productivity and security. Other technologies that were included in the showcase included Electronic Point of Sale (Epos), CCTV Security and Health and Safety Compliance and included a presentation from Ex-Chief Constable John Dwyer, on the latest developments in Retail Security. Simon Meyer, Operations Director, said of the event, "The interest in biometrics and secure Identity Management solution continues to grow in the retail sector as retailers realise the value these systems bring.
