National Museum Wales Secured by Human Recognition Systems

Precious artefacts including pieces by Monet, Dylan Thomas, Van Gogh and a Tyrannosaurus rex protected by Human Recognition Systems

December 15th, 2006

The National Museum Wales is undertaking a £2m extension to their existing storage facility. Construction work being carried out by Bluestone requires high security access control to protect the many priceless artefacts. The solution designed and deployed by Human Recognition Systems incorporates biometric technology which has many key benefits above additional security for the museum. These include knowing who is onsite at any time, ensuring they have the necessary up to date CSCS accreditation and matching invoices to people who are actually onsite therefore stamping out 'Ghost Working' says Nick Wilkinson responsible for Sales of the HRS Construction Solution.

HRS Construction Solution gives control back to the construction company

"These three key benefits for construction companies are compelling, our system gives companies site, regional and national control of who is working on their construction sites."

"Depending on the client requirements we can role out a system for single sites or a networked infrastructure providing centralised information at Head Office level." says Nick. "Proving very successful is our new cabin solution which houses all the biometric technology integrated with turnstiles into a single cabin.  This can be hired on a week by week basis matching the procurement needs of our clients.  We are happy to announce a growing relationship with Bluestone following the success of this initial project."
