Biometric and identity management specialists, Human Recognition Systems (HRS), has been awarded the Investors in People Standard after completing the assessment process and demonstrating that the organisation meets the key objectives as set out by the Investors in People framework.
Investors in People is the UK's leading people management business improvement standard, because it delivers improved performance to thousands of organisations. Investors in People grew out of the 1990s recession and was designed by business for business. Their framework has been developed over 18 years and aims to provide employers flexibility and ease of use.
Louise Rooney, People Director at Human Recognition Systems comments "We applied for the Investors in People standard to gain external recognition of the focus we place on the importance of every individual within our team, especially their personal development within the business. The assessment process also highlighted to us how this can be hugely influential on business strategy and performance."
Tariq Mahmood, The Investors in People Recognition Assessor, commented, "The innovative and dynamic nature of the company becomes apparent as soon as you walk into the organisation. HRS places great emphasis on people contributing ideas; and use of simple but effective mechanisms such as the "Wonderwall" and "Hornets Nest" greatly support the innovation process. The emphasis that is placed on the core values was also impressive - the values are very clear and visible and everyone from the MD down is assessed against them."
